Natalie Johnson is an award-winning writer, director and producer whose work spans both theater and film. With an emphasis on socially relevant themes, Natalie strives to tell stories of those less heard. She studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and as an actor, she has worked Off-Broadway (and way-off Broadway) and in film & television before she transitioned to writing, directing and producing her own work. Her films have screened at the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, Nitehawk Short Film Festival and the Museum of the Moving Image. Films she has produced have screened at MoMA in collaboration with the Future of Film is Female and the HBO Latino Film Festival, among others. She is a member of NYC Women Filmmakers & Cinefemme.

Outside of film, Natalie is a mom to two young children, in school to become a therapist, she is trilingual, a former skiing and snowboarding instructor, has lived in a van, and if you spend any time together, she will most likely cook for you.
