THEN COMES BABY

THEN COMES BABY is a full-length play about an inter-cultural couple that has a baby in a tiny NYC apartment. 

 

The first year of parenthood is hard. For Ella and Nico? It's REALLY hard. She, a Polish-American aspiring writer (full-time waitress), he, a Chilean teacher and PhD candidate, running on no sleep, undiagnosed postpartum depression (both of them), culturally-clashing-meddling in-laws, and an apartment that's quickly falling apart, their marriage is seriously in trouble.

This play has not yet been produced. Several scenes from the play have been workshopped with InViolet Theater Company, Squeaky Bicycle Productions, and The Velodrome Company.
